This year I went from web development as a hobby to completing the IT Career Switch coding traineeship. This included a wide ranging number of courses and assessments involving the following:
In addition, I also completed two enormously enjoyable and rewarding full stack projects which are outlined below
Within my professional life I have always prided myself on a keen attention to detail, timely delivery, excellent communication and problem solving.
Within the public sector:
As a legal assistant:
As a supervisor within a leisure facility:
Both projects were constructed as mobile friendly, single page applications using HTML, CSS and javaScript along with the Bootstrap 5 framework. PHP was employed as the server side language responsible for data requests.
The first project also utilised an open source javaScript library to create an interactive map and numerous APIs to provide a wealth of images and data.
The second incorporated an SQL database to provide a record keeping solution for a "client". As in a more real life scenario, work could only begin on this project once a design proposal had been accepted.
